  • Cover the prepared dough and keep it aside for 5-10 minutes for better moistening.
Step 2: Stuffing Preparation
  • Take a frying pan and heat it on the gas oven or induction cooktop.
  • Pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil when the pan gets slightly heated.
  • Pour a pinch of Carom Seeds (Ajwain), a pinch of Black Cumin (Kala jeera), and a pinch of Asafoetida (Hing) on the pan.
  • When the Carom seeds start crackling in the pan, then add 2 chopped onions and 3-5 grams of chopped ginger to the pan.
  • Mix chilli powder/flakes, cumin powder, and coriander powder in a separate bowl. Take 1/2 teaspoon of this mixture and add it to the frying pan.
  • Add 1 chopped green chili to the frying stuffing.
  • Stir the mixture continuously and fry till it gets golden brown.
  • Take the mixture out of the pan and keep it separate for cooling.
Now your stuffing is ready.

Step 3:  Making the Final Parathas

  • Divide the prepared dough into 4 parts and spread them like bowls using slight flour or oil for giving it a better shape.
  • Fill 1 teaspoon of stuffing in each bowl-shaped dough part.
  • Close each of the stuffed dough bowls and shape them like a closed sphere.
  • Then spread each stuffed dough sphere using a roti maker or rolling board to give them the shape of parathas.
  • Now take a frying pan, pour 1 tablespoon of ghee or vegetable oil, and heat it.
  • After the oil gets heated in the pan, place each paratha on it one by one, and fry both sides till it gets golden brown.
  • Then take each paratha out of the pan and place it on your plate.
